Here we are

It seems I have some catching up to do.

Hannah is now a 6th grader and is growing up so fast. She has started testing her wings by taking a solo trip to Washington DC for a leadership conference. She had a great time, learned a lot and got to see some of our nations greatest sites. I couldn't wait to see the pictures she took of her adventure, but when she showed them to me, there seems to be one particular boy who is in the way of so many shots. After a minute I realized that this boy is not so much in the way of the picture...it seems he is the subject of a lot of the pictures....hmmmm??? Not so sure I'm ready for this next phase.

David is almost 4 and as rascally as ever! This kid is hilarious! I love 3 year old logic...For Christmas, the boys got a train table that took our mechanical engineer and I 4 hours to put together. One day, I walked into the playroom to find peices of the train table spread all over the floor. I asked David what happened in here and he threw his arms in the air and yelled "we used TEAMWORK". As much as I don't want to stifle the whole "Go Team" attitude, I had to tell him that we don't use teamwork to break things...after he thought about that for a minute he asks "Well then, what do we use to break things?" How do you argue that?

Ben is almost 2 and he is definitely our little snuggle bug. When he loves you, he loves you BIG. His favorite place to be is in the middle of 2 people hugging and he will force his way into a hug, invited or not. He adores his big sister Hannah and seems willing to follow David anywhere he goes.

Dave and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary today...well, we aren't really celebrating today since I have my first preceptorship, night shift tonight (eek!). It's so hard to believe that it's only been 5 years, I almost can't remember what life was like before he came into it.
